The Záhorie Gallery of Ján Mudroch in Senica

The Záhorie Gallery of Ján Mudroch in Senica, which is located in the westernmost Slovak region of Záhorie, was founded in 1984. It is seated in Machatka, a late-baroque chateau, designed by the Viennese architect F. Hillebrandt. Administratively it belongs to the Trnava self-governing region. In addition to its multilateral regional mission, making collections and presentations of artists connected with Záhorie in various ways, the gallery specializes in supporting the art of young talents in the form of the Triennial of art schools students called Talents, and then in Czech and Moravian fine art, especially in cooperation with the GVU partner gallery in Hodonín.
