Ernest Zmeták Art Gallery in Nové Zámky was established in 1979. The basic collection consists of a gift – a collection of art and antiques from the private property of Danica and Ernest Zmeták. The gallery offers the following permanent exhibitions: “The permanent exhibition of European art of the 16^th-20^th century”, “The permanent exhibition of Lajos Kassák (from the gift of Klára Kassáková)” and current exhibitions. Also there are accompanying events: guided tours, workshops, classical music concerts, book readings, lectures, debates, film screenings.
