Kysuce gallery in Oščadnica was founded in 1981 from the initiative of natives and friends of the Kysuce region - JUDr. Anton Blaha and twelve fine artists (Stanislav Biroš, Miroslav Cipar, Anton Cutek, Milan Gregus, František Hübel, Vojtech Ihrisky, Milan Mravec, Pavol Mušek, František Ondro, Milan Pašték, Jozef Sušienka, Ondrej Zimek).

It is a regional art gallery, making a collection fund based on the works donated mostly by the artists of the region. The first expositions were made available in the manor house, which is registered as a national cultural monument within Protected Landscape Area, including an adjoining forest park. The main tasks of the gallery include organizing exhibitions, and carrying out scientific, cultural and educational activities, alongside with the International Sculpture Symposium organized. On the first floor of the manor house, there is a permanent exhibition of works by František Hübel.
